What happens if prices change after a cart is shared?
Prices and stock refresh when the link is opened. The preview marks anything that changed and flags items that are no longer available.
Can guests save a cart?
Yes. Guests save with their email and get a private link. Guest carts expire after 180 days by default and are deleted along with the email address. If the guest later creates an account, the cart moves into it.
Where do the buttons show up?
Below the cart by default. You can also turn them on for the mini-cart, checkout and product pages, or place them yourself with blocks or the [cartlet_share] and [cartlet_save] shortcodes.
Does it work with the Cart and Checkout blocks?
Yes – Cart and Checkout blocks, classic cart and checkout, the Mini-Cart block and the classic widget are all supported.
Will it work with my page cache?
Yes. Link and private pages aren't cached, and product-page buttons fetch fresh security tokens on older cached pages.
Which product types are supported?
Simple, variable, grouped, virtual and downloadable products. Extra item data from other plugins is kept via the cartlet_capture_item_data and cartlet_restore_item_data filters.
Does Cartlet send data to third parties?
Not by default. Cloudflare Turnstile is only used if you add your own keys in Settings → Advanced. Share buttons are plain links that do nothing until clicked.
What's the difference between Cartlet and Cartlet Pro?
Cartlet handles sharing, saving, merchant links and metrics. Pro – coming soon – adds revenue attribution, private links, price-lock quotes, reminder emails, B2B approvals and webhooks.
